Preparatory voice student Laura Stanell was the voice finalist representative from the Pennsylvania Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) voice competition for the senior division grade 9-12 and participated this past weekend at West Virginia University in the MTNA East Coast Eastern Division competition for voice, in the senior division. She sang a four-piece program by Handel, Mozart, Brahms, and Barber. She was named Alternate for the MTNA National competition. Stanell studies with Carol Cavey-Miles.
