Rory Powell, a Harp student of Michaela Trnkova has been featured on the cover page of Bloom magazine. Powell is a recipient of The Edith Hamilton Scholarship, which accentuates the studying of the effectiveness of music therapy as way to help children with developmental delays.

Alyssa Katahara Awarded Harp Position with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

Alyssa Katahara, Michaela Trnkova’s former preparatory student, has earned a principal harp position with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Katahara will be a solo harpist alongside the rest of the orchestra. Katahara studied with Michaela Trnkova as a harp student from 2010-2013 at the Peabody Preparatory.
