Preparatory cellist Amelia Baisden, student of Daniel Levitov, spent the summer at New England Conservatory in Boston, MA as part of Morningside Music Bridge, an international full scholarship program for gifted artists 12 – 18 years of age.
Next month, Amelia will attend Cello Akademie Rutesheim in Germany, where she will study with the cellist, conductor, and professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, Marc Coppey. In addition to performing in public masterclasses and as part of the Academy Ensemble, Amelia will appear as a soloist with the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, conducted by Alexander Mayer.
