The Peabody Opera Outreach will be performing Errollyn Wallen’s ANON at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage on Sunday, February 4, at 6:00 pm. The opera explores the subjects of domestic/familial abuse, human trafficking, and the inequities women face, and was composed specifically to bring these issues to light for young women. Performers include: Madilyn Crossland, Laura, Doyon, Abigail Hart, Carly Henderson, Sarah Spivack, and Yin Zhu. This non-ticketed event is free, and it will be live streamed.
Their partner, The Samaritan Women, a national nonprofit organization providing restorative care to survivors, and bringing about an end to domestic human trafficking through awareness, prevention, and advocacy, will be represented at this performance. Learn more about The Samaritan Women here.
