Tomasz Robak Receives Fulbright Award

Peabody Library PianoDoctoral candidate Tomasz Robak, piano, has received a Fulbright grant to go to Poland. He will go there in September for a year to study music of Polish composers from Katowice, including Henryk Górecki and Wojciech Kilar. He will study at the Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and take piano with Andrzej Jasiński (teacher of Krystian Zimerman) and Anna Górecka (daughter of Henryk Górecki), as well as do research on primary sources and put together programs of Polish solo and chamber music.
