Peabody Alumni and Students Featured in Upcoming Concert

The Basilica Concert Series will begin on Friday, October 12, at 7:00 pm, with a program called “Guided By Our Lady: A musical reflection of the church year through the chants of Our Lady” featuring a number of Peabody students and alumni. Alumni Arianna Arnold (MM ’18, Voice), Taylor Boykins (MM ’14, Voice), Thomas Hochla (MM ’16, Voice), Christina Manceor (MM ’17, Percussion), Edmund Scott Miller (MM ’15, Composition, Music Theory Pedagogy), Rebecca Roy (MM ’15, Voice), and Amanda Williams (MM ’13, GPD ’14, Voice) with current students Henry Hubbard, voice, Daveen Rim, voice, and Edwin Sungpil Kim, piano, are all featured in the concert, which will take place at America’s first cathedral, the Baltimore Basilica. The program will consist of music by Palestrina, Moses Hogan, Biebl, a premiere of an a cappella piece called “At the Hill of Golgotha” by Kim, and many others. This event is free, but donations are encouraged.
