Gu Wei (MM ’17, Composition) and Mi Zhou (MM ’18, Organ) were selected as one of the four composer/organist pairs by the American Guild of Organists (AGO) for their Student Commissioning Project 2019. The project is AGO’s most recent new music venture, with the initiative of creating new repertoire for the organ. The pair will produce a new organ piece to be premiered in Spring 2019, followed by another performance in the same year.
