Soprano Christine Lyons (MM ’16, Voice) won first place in the New England Regional Finals of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions that were held at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall on Sunday, January 27. She won $6,000, coaching time with the Metropolitan Opera’s artistic staff, and will advance to the National Semifinals to be held on Sunday, March 24.
