Matthew Odell (MM ’03, GPD ’05, Piano) released his debut album, “Connections: The Music of Olivier Messiaen and his Students,” in February on Albany Records. The album juxtaposes music by Messiaen with that of former students Pierre Boulez, Tristan Murail, and world premiere recordings of Michel Merlet.
