Gonzalo Farias (GPD ‘18, Conducting) has been named Jacksonville Symphony’s new associate conductor. In his new role, Farias will conduct Jacksonville Symphony concert and take part in planning education and community programs throughout the year. He will assist orchestra Music Director Courtney Lewis as well as guest conductors in rehearsals and will serve as a last-minute substitute conductor as needed.
