Master’s candidate Bobby Ge, composition, received third place for his composition, A Darkling Solstice Psaltery, at the Second Annual International Music Competition of Harbin, from a jury including Unsuk Chin, George Lewis, Robert Beaser, Enjott Schneider, and Xiaogang Ye. The piece was premiered in concert by conductor Qiyuan Zhu and the Harbin Symphony Orchestra.
