Joseph Young (AD ’09, Conducting), Peabody’s Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Artistic Director of Ensembles, has been featured in an article by the San Francisco Examiner for his recent appointment as the new music director of the Berkeley Symphony. Young is being commended for being able to bring a diverse and premiere-laden line-up for the 49th season together despite a quick turn around from the previous director.
