Tianyuan Liu Wins First Prize at Yale Gordon Competition

Tianyuan LiuThe annual Yale Gordon Competition was held December 8, 2019. Tianyuan Liu, student of Boris Slutsky was awarded a first prize of $1,500 and will play with orchestra during the 2020-2021 academic year playing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto, No. 3. Narae Lee, student of Boris Slutsky was awarded a second prize of $750. Min Joo Yi, student of Yong Hi Moon was awarded a third prize of $500. Max Foster, student of Yong Hi Moon received an honorable mention.
