Washington Garcia (MM ’98, DMA ’03, Piano) has received additional funds to continue to renovate and build the UNO School of Music, which he is the founding director of. The renovations and expansions have seen the Strauss Performing Arts Center gaining a new student recital hall, renovated concert hall, a professional sound recording studio, and an upcoming grand entrance to the building.
