Nathan Cicero (MM ’18, Vocal Accompanying) was a pianist for a Schubert Karaoke Brunch, where singers joined together for two hours of Schubert lieder, in January, as a member of The Lied Society in Minneapolis. He was also musical director for Skylark Opera’s production of Così fan Tutte in March, 2019. Twin Cities Stages stated: “The typical orchestra behind an opera is replaced by a single piano player, music director Nathan Cicero, who deftly plays Mozart’s quick score and did not leave be wanting for any more accompaniment.” More reviews can be found at skylarkopera.org/press.
