Assistant Professor Carl DuPont, Jarrod Lee, Brittani McNeill (GPD ’15, Voice), and Melissa Wimbish (GPD ’11, Voice; GPD ’14, Chamber Ensemble) will perform a medley of spirituals, art songs, and traditional readings in a concert commemorating Juneteenth, the day when the Emancipation Proclamation was read liberating enslaved people throughout the United States.
