Commendations from Johns Hopkins Board of Trustees

The Johns Hopkins Board of Trustees is formally recognizing employees across the University for their work in response to COVID-19, and has sent notes of commendation to three teams at Peabody whose work was central to the Institute’s successful transition to remote operations. The Information Technology department, led by Theron Feist, and the Academic Technology and Instructional Design (AT&ID) team, led by Joe Montcalmo, were honored for supporting faculty in their move to remote instruction and for the development of industry-leading training for remote classroom and applied music and dance instruction. The Concert and Ensemble Operations team, led by Andrew Kipe, was singled out for leading the coordination of efforts to modify the ensemble components of the curriculum for return to campus. Each department has received a resolution from the Board accompanied by a personal note from Board Chair Louis Forster.
