Chad Bowles and Alexander Shtarkman Named Master Teachers for Tholen Fellowship

Chad Bowles (MM ’05, GPD ’07, Piano), chair of the Preparatory’s Piano Department, and Conservatory faculty artist Alexander Shtarkman have been named Master Teachers for Portland Piano International’s Tholen Fellowship. As part of the program Bowles and Shtarkman will provide one-on-one master lessons to local piano teachers to help improve their teaching and playing.
