Preparatory Voice Students Celebrate Competition Wins

Prep Voice StudentsPreparatory voice students celebrated multiple competition wins:

Laura Stanell won first place in the Senior Performance Division of the Music Teachers National Association competition, second place in the Schmidt Vocal Competition, Pennsylvania Cohort, and first place in the Upper High School Classical Women/Treble category of the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2021 Auditions.

Nathalie Friederich was awarded second place in the Second Year College/Independent Studio Women/Treble category at the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2021 Auditions, first place in the category of Second Year Classical Treble Voice at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid Atlantic Auditions, and honorable mention in the National Society of Arts and Letters Shirley Winston Scholarship.

Grace Null won first prize of the National Society of Arts and Letters Shirley Winston Scholarship.

Hayden Spitzer won first place in the Lower High School Classical Men/TBB category and Joshua Bowden was awarded second place in the Upper High School Music Theater Men/TBB category at the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2021 Auditions. Elizabeth Carpenter (Upper HS Treble), Autumn DeCosmo (Upper HS Treble), Croix Ellison (Lower HS Treble), Dalia Hassanein (Upper HS Treble; Upper HS Treble Musical Theater), and Grace Null (Upper HS Treble) were all awarded honors in their categories.

Croix Ellison and Dalia Hassanein were awarded third place in the categories of Lower High School Classical Treble Voice and Upper High School Music Theater Treble Voice, respectively, at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid Atlantic Auditions.
