Rahzé Cheatham (BM ‘19, Voice) performed the role of “Hannah before” in Laura Kaminsky’s As One opera on November 20, honoring Transgender Day of Remembrance during it’s 49th production in Lowell, MA. As One follows the life of a transgender protagonist through her challenging journey of gender-expansive self-discovery. Cheatham also performed this role as part of their Peabody Opera Theatre performance in 2019.
