Harlan D. Parker, Associate Professor of Music Education, and the Peabody Institute will host the College Band Directors National Association Eastern Division Conference in February 2022. The College Band Directors National Association are a collection of musical artists “devoted to the teaching, performance, study and cultivation of music, with particular focus on the wind band medium.” The Peabody Wind Ensemble’s February 18 concert, which is a part of the Conference schedule, includes a work dedicated to Dr. Parker in honor of his 30th anniversary of teaching at Peabody.
