Peabody at Homewood Music Theory faculty member Dr. Joshua Fishbein’s cantata “Out of the Ashes of Holocaust” was chosen as co-winner of The American Prize in Composition—SOCIAL JUSTICE related, 2022 (professional division). In addition, Fishbein’s cantata was recently accepted for publication by E.C. Schirmer Music Company, with a release scheduled during spring 2023.
