Dance faculty artist Colette Krogol has won a $10,000 Mary Sawyers Baker Prize. Now in its 15th year, the Baker Artist Awards has recognized over 150 artists and awarded over $1.3 million to artists in the Baltimore region. She also recently received a 2023 Ruby Artist Grant (along with her creative partner Matt Reeves) from the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation, for developing a new performer and artificial intelligence-operated dance and multimedia performance that uses smart home technology on a theatrical scale.
