Preparatory cello student Amelia Baisden was selected for and attended the Music@Menlo Young Performers Program this summer, making her one of the youngest at age 12 and one of only seven cellists selected to attend. This program features musicians up to age 19, and included several Juilliard and NEC undergrads. She performed of the first movement of then Clara Schumann trio in the Koret Young Performers Concert, which took place on July 22, 2023.
