Laura Strickling (MM ’06, Voice) and Daniel Schlosberg (BM ’00, MM ’01, Piano; KSAS BA ’00, History) announced the release of their new CD, 40@40, available August 18, 2023 from the Bright Shiny Things label. The disc presents the first 20 World Premiere recordings from Laura’s 40@40 Project – her personal art song commissioning initiative. Laura’s previous CD Confessions, with Peabody collaborative pianist and opera coach Joy Schreier, was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Classical Vocal Solo category in 2022.
