Joy Guidry (BM ’18, Bassoon) released her third album AMEN on May 10, 2024. The album also includes alumni Scott Li (BM ’21, Recording Arts and Sciences), Edwin Huet (BM ’15, Computer Music, MM ’17, Computer Music), and Noah Tingen (BM ’19, Horn). The album is being enthusiastically reviewed at Everything is Noise and All About Jazz, and she’s been interviewed about the album on the April 26 episode of Tipping Point on dublab, the June 1 episode of BBC Radio 6’s Jamz Supernova program, and in conversation with Angel Bat Dawid on a June 8 interview on NTS Radio.
