Last October, Jacob Yoffe (BM ’02, Composition; GPD ’04, Jazz Saxophone) and his production partner Roahn Hylton recorded a “refresh” of the WarnerBros, logo to accompany a new animated logo that goes out on anything WB related, and had to deliver deliver Dolby Atmos, 11.1, 9.1, 7.1, 5.1, Near field, Stereo, and iPhone mixes of it—a tremendous amount of work for a few seconds of sound branding. The new logo made its debut August 9 ahead of the new M. Night Shymalan movie, Trap.
