Guest conductor Hans Graf led the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, featuring guest vocalist Mikhail Svetlov, through an all-Shostakovich program at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in February for the Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Concert Series’ Annual Concert in Memory of Steven Muller. Muller was the Johns Hopkins University president who oversaw Peabody’s formal affiliation with America’s first research institution. The celebratory event helped kick off the celebration of Johns Hopkins’ Sesquicentennial, with events taking place throughout 2026.
