The Sandra Levi Distinguished Chair of Dance was officially presented to the University in a May 13, 2025 ceremony honoring both Sandra Levi and danah bella, founder of the BFA Dance program and the inaugural recipient of the endowed chair. The celebration featured remarks by Peabody Dean Fred Bronstein and Mary Miller, JHU Trustee and chair of the Peabody Institute Advisory Board; a reception for faculty, students, and guests; and performances by students and alumni.
