Bergamot Quartet, comprised of Ledah Finck (BM ’16, MM ‘18, Violin); Sarah Thomas (BM ’17, MM ’19 Violin); Amy Huimei Tan (GPD ’20, Viola); and Irène Han (MM ’18, Cello), released its first full length recording title In the Brink on May 6, 2022.
Kasia Bryla (AD ’11, Viola) has been appointed 4th chair viola with the San Francisco Symphony. Bryla has previously played with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and the New York City Ballet Orchestra. She will join Leor Maltinksi (GPD ’03, Violin) and Florin Parvulescu (AD ’96, Violin) in the symphony.
Michael Stepniak (MM ‘98, GPD ‘99, Viola) has been elected President-Elect of the College Music Society, to serve as President-Elect in 2022, President in 2023-24, and Past-President in 2025.
