Greg Jukes (BM ’10) has founded a new hybrid arts ensemble called The Fourth Wall. The Fourth Wall explores a new hybrid of the performing arts in which musicians are also dancers and actors. Stretching the boundaries of instrumental performance, The Fourth Wall commissions new interdisciplinary works and reinterprets established repertoire to make music that leaps off the stage. The group performed in August at the National Flute Association’s annual convention, and will perform on Oct. 9 at the Windfall Dancers Studio in Bloomington, Ind., and later in October at the Boston Composers’ Coalition.
