Barbara Weisberger has been announced as the 2013 Dance/USA ‘Ernie’ Honoree. The ‘Ernie’ goes to an individual working “behind the scenes” within the infrastructure of the dance field, whose achievements have significantly empowered artists and supported their creativity individually or as a community. For the past eleven years she has been Artistic Advisor of Peabody Dance. Weisberger will be honored on June 13 at the Annual Conference Honors Celebration at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.
