Preparatory students win top prizes in string competition

Peabody students Nicholas Kim and Elizabeth Gange won first place in both divisions of the Potters-Hood String Competition that took place at Catholic University in Washington, DC on December 14.  Kim, a member of the Pre-Conservatory Violin Program and student of Matthew Horowitz-Lee, took top prize  of the senior division. Gange, a member of the Performance Academy for Strings and student of Rebecca Henry, won the junior division.
