Angel Lam (MM ’03, DMA ’11, Composition; MM ’05, Music Theory) was recently featured in an interview with the New York Foundation for the Arts. Lam is an NYFA Fiscally Sponsored Artist, and her piece “Empty Mountain, Spirit Rain” was one of four featured compositions on the Silk Road Ensemble’s album Off the Map, which was nominated for a 2011 Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Album.
