Soprano Kimberly Christie (MM ’12, Voice) will perform Handel’s Messiah in three upcoming Sing-Alongs. The first performance will also feature Poulenc’s Gloria with Central Maryland Chorale on Sunday, September 13 at 4:00 pm at Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring, Maryland. Ms. Christie will make her solo debut at the John F. Kennedy Center in DC on Wednesday, December 23 at 8:00 pm in the Concert Hall. This Messiah Sing-A-Long is presented by Millenium Stage and will feature the Opera House Orchestra, Barry Hemphill, guest conductors, guest soloists, and a 150 member choir. This is a free event, but tickets are only available in the Hall of Nations beginning at 6:00 pm the day of the concert.
