Peabody student performers will be featured on WWFM Radio’s “Celebrating Our Musical Future” program and on WWFM.org at 8:00 pm this coming Monday, February 8. The program will include Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins, performed by violinists Alan Choo and Gabriel Lee at the November 14, 2015 Baltimore Baroque Band performance. The broadcast will also feature Dvorak’s Piano Trio (“Dumky”) by Trio Phoenix, a Peabody Honors Ensemble featuring Alan Choo, violin, Tzu-Jou Yeh, cello, and Akkra Yeunyonghattaporn, piano. The recording took place on December 10, 2015 in Peabody’s Hilda and Douglas Goodwin Recital Hall. Also featured will be the complete December 3, 2015 Thursday Noon recital presented by the Voice department, featuring works by Satie, Blitztein, Alma Mahler, Rainbolt, Gounod, Still, and Barber, with student performances by Rob McGinness, baritone, Aaron Thacker, piano, Zoe Band, mezzo-soprano, Ya Yu Lee, soprano, Ching Huei Li, piano, Tirzah Hawley, soprano, Dou Yuezhi, piano, Molly Park, soprano, and Ju Young Lee, piano.
