In April 2017, vocalist and faculty member Jennifer Blades (MM ’97, GPD ’98, Voice) will be performing the U.S. premieer of a one-woman, unaccompanied monodrama by award-winning composer Ana Sokolovic entitled Love Songs . The production will take place at the Baltimore Theatre Project and features an all-female production team led by stage director Frances Pollock (MM ’15, Voice) and music director JoAnn Kulesza, interim chair of the Opera Department.
