Mark G. Meadows Named DC’s Composer of the Year by Washington City Paper

unnamedMark G. Meadows (KSAS BA ’11, Psychology; GPD ’13, Jazz Piano) has been named D.C.’s Composer of the Year by the Washington City Paper. His recent album, To The People, was named Album of the Year by the Washington City Paper and 2nd Best D.C. Album by Capitol Bop. Find more information and purchase To the People here. Additionally, Mr. Meadows will be arranging pieces for Duke Ellington High School’s The Mellow Tones to perform with the National Symphony Orchestra and Grammy- Award winning artist Ledesi on Friday-Saturday, February 24-25 at 8:00 pm at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
