Min Sang Kim and Sungpil Kim Selected as INTERPLAY Residents at UMBC

minsangkimINTERPLAY, a teaching and performance collaboration between the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Peabody will bring Peabody Conservatory students Min Sang Kim, countertenor, and Sungpil Kim, pianist, to UMBC to coach vocal students and to perform in Linehan Concert Hall. As part of the INTERPLAY residency, Min Sang Kim and Sungpil Kim will lead three class sessions under the mentorship of UMBC music faculty member Stephen Caracciolo in which they will coach UMBC vocal students on musical and career preparation skills. A free, public performance by Min Sang and Sungpil will take place on Sunday, March 5, featuring music by Handel, Purcell, Schubert and Heggie, as well as Korean art songs.
