An exciting concert opportunity will be taking place next Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the First Unitarian Church of Baltimore. The concert is the beginning of the church’s bicentennial celebration. Featured on the concert will be Dr. David Hildebrand, Peabody Musicology faculty member, who recently released a book, Musical Maryland, giving him a unique perspective from which to present this concert. Ginger Hildebrand (MM ’88, Guitar) will also be featured on the concert. They will feature music that was popular during the founding of the church, including church music and popular music from that time. There will be a sing-along aspect of the concert as well, and audience members are invited to join in.
