The New York based Cassatt String Quartet conducted Cassatt in the Basin! residency from September 18-22. Jennifer Leshnower (MM ’91, Violin) is a member of the Cassatt String Quartet with Muneko Otani, violin; Ah Ling Neu, viola; and Elizabeth Anderson, cello. The group worked with Benjamin Zander, conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, TED-talk speaker, and author of the acclaimed The Art of Possibility. The residency with four high schools took place at Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center in Midland, Texas.
