Music director Michael Repper, a current conducting DMA candidate, will conduct the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra in their 55th season McCrindle Concert at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, March 18, at 2:00 pm. Flutist Demarre McGill will perform the New York premiere of composition faculty artist Kevin Puts’ Flute Concerto. The program will also include Dvovák’s Symphony No. 8, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, and feature the world premiere of go and by Thomas Kotcheff (BM ’10, Piano), the First Music commission winner.
