Faculty artist Marin Alsop, conducting, won the Association of British Orchestras Award on January 25. Alsop was chosen for her contributions to UK orchestral life and her work in closing the gender gap for women conductors. A formal presentation will take place on Sunday, February 4, at a concert at the Royal Festival Hall.
