Preparatory alumna Gloria Makino’s musical, Unturning, is casting for a June 9 staged reading in Baltimore. This is a musical by and about a mixed-race woman, reclaimed from Thomas Hardy’s novel “The Return of the Native.” This is a reading through the Dramatists Guild’s Baltimore Footlights series.
