Juliet McComas Creates Keyboard Marathon

juliet mccomasJuliet McComas (BM ’71, MM ’74, Piano) created the Annual Keyboard Marathon as a forum to present the great works of piano literature to the public. The idea was inspired from her studies with Dr. Konrad Wolff who hosted several piano marathon projects at Peabody, including the complete Well-Tempered Clavier and the Debussy Preludes. The Annual Keyboard Marathon is presented by the piano faculty of the San Francisco Community Music Center. This festive concert is going into it’s 16th year and has become one of the most popular musical events in the community.
