Master’s candidate Misael Tambuwun, composition, was appointed artistic director of Overture 1215, a classical and jazz Christmas concert in Philadelphia. This concert will feature a number of Peabody students and alumni, including Tambuwun, master’s candidate Emma Dickinson, soprano; sophomore Lawrence Hutfles, jazz bass; senior Gabriel Petkaitis, jazz drums; and Noah Dion (BM ’17, Jazz Piano; BS ’17, Political Science), and it will take place on Saturday, December 15, at 6:30 pm in Philadelphia, Penn.
