Kurt Rohde (BM ’86, Viola, Composition) was appointed the Artistic Director of the Composers Conference, succeeding Mario Davidovsky, who passed away in Fall 2019. Rohde is currently Professor of Music Composition & Theory at UC Davis, and is a founding member, violist and Artistic Advisor with the Left Coast Chamber Ensemble.
