Simeone Tartaglione (GPD ’09, Conducting) has been appointed symphony conductor at the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras at Strathmore Hall in D.C. In May, Tartaglione will conduct a concert for Mother’s Day with two choirs a cornet band and several bells choirs and the Newark (DE) Symphony Orchestra for a tribute to mothers.
