Handong Park won Baltimore Youth Symphony concerto competition

Handong Park, a Preparatory flute student of Rachel Choe, won the concerto competition of the Baltimore Youth Symphony Orchestra on January 4. He will be playing Niesen Concerto with the orchestra on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 3:00 pm, at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. This is just one of great accomplishment he achieved this year. He was selected for Maryland All State Band and Baltimore All County Band. In October 2013, he traveled to Nashville to perform as the principal flutist of All National Orchestra after competing with other participants who had been selected national-widely throughout All County, All State and All Regional auditions. With these high-profile musical activities, he got accepted into Harvard University as class of 2018.
