Several Peabody Preparatory students competed and placed in the Columbia Orchestra Young Artists Competition last weekend. Jeremy Hess, violin, won the senior string division and Caleb Park, cello, won the junior string division. Anne-Marie Wnek placed as an alternate for the junior string division and Jing Fan, violin, and Jeffrey Zhang, violin, received honorable mention. Grace Kim, violin, Nicholas Kim, violin, and Megan Rabe, violin, received senior string division honorable mention. Pictured (from left to right) are winners Jeremy Hess and Caleb Park.
